The ring and pinion exploded at half track and i lifted. It coasted through the 1/8 at 5.75 @ 94 MPH:

So, knowing you broke somethin, you continued coasting down the center of the lane until you were 10ft. from the turnout?? Great!

The ring and pinion where making a "clicking" noise before he made the run, it wasn't leaking any fluid, never did.

I was already going about 120 at this point. If there was fluid down, jerking the car over wouldnt have been a great idea. I pulled over at the end in case there was puddling, it wouldnt be in the middle of the shut down area. Besides, we have a diaper on it. It wasnt going to make a mess.

No. I figured if the motor blew, it wouldnt make too much of a mess.
