1/4 mile:
W - Nick Bowman, '70 Plymouth Duster, 10.63 dial, .0196 RT, 10.6411 ET, 120.71mph
R/U - Joe Devola, Suzuki GSXR, 10.56 dial, .0467 RT, 10.5567 ET,128.79mph
Nick drops a ..030 package to lock Joe out

1/8th mile:

R/U - Dave Dortenzo, 6.38 dial, .0266 RT, 6.3936 ET, 106.33mph
Dave broke in the new concrete surface at Friday night's test and tune, and finds himself in the final round of Saturday's race. Chris was double entered, carrying both to the semis, where he beat Mark Brewer to get one to the final, but was prevented from racing himself in the final by getting a lap laid on him by Dave. In the rematch, Chris avenges that run, only giving Dave .003 to get in on, getting the win by .01.

Saturday, May 22:

Sniper Series Saturday:
Occasional pop up sprinkles, a transmission fluid sprinkler system, some lifter valley stew, and a locked up caliper after the stripe pushed the program back into the sunset hours. The first 2 pair of the quarterfinals ran before a shower hit, delaying Saturday’s finale to Sunday.
Junior dragsters:
W - Brandon Deal, 7.94 dial in, .0388 reaction time, 7.9833 elapsed time, 81.30mph
R/U - Braydon Deal, 7.94 dial on, .0558 reaction time, 7.9959 elapsed time, 81.12mph
Twin brothers going heads up in the final, and Brandon never trails, getting the tree by .017, and the stripe by .029.

$5k to win:
W - Scotty Campbell, ‘88 Camaro, 6.14 dial in, .0493 reaction time, 6.1513 elapsed time, 110.08mph
R/U - Steve Butler, dragster, 4.75 dial in, -.0015 reaction time, 4.7515 elapsed time, 144.93mph
Scotty, off the bottom bulb, has problems in the burnout box with the fuel pump. It rattled him a little, resulting in the uncharacteristic bulb. He gets the win when Steve is just a thousandth on the red side, and gets a little salt in the wound when he runs right on the dial

Sunday, May 23:

Sunday Sniper Series:
A brief little weather scare, as some raindrops hit right before the quarterfinals again, but the heat of the day had it evaporated quickly.
Junior Dragsters:
W - Abby Romeo, 8.90 dial in, .0209 reaction time, 8.9178 elapsed time, 71.35mph
R/U - Brandon Deal, 7.96 dial in, .0332 reaction time, 7.9977 elapsed time, 82.00mph
Brandon was shooting to double up, but only had .0055 to get inside of when third generation racer Abby lays down a .0387 package!

$5k to win:
W - Mark Brewer, ‘78 Mustang II King Cobra, 6.36 dial in, .0110 reaction time, 6.3639 elapsed time, 107.48mph
R/U - Chris Mancini, ‘64 Chevy II, 6.15 dial in, .
- .0054 reaction time, 6.1670 elapsed time, 109.65mph
Earlier in the week on Mark’s Facebook page, he and Chris talked of a rematch of the semifinals in last week’s $2k which Chris went on to win. Chris lights the red eye, but Mark’s .0149 package would have made him mathematically ineligible.
